I am interested in the evolution of fungi using comparative genomics and genetics. Currently I am interested in the evolution of the fungal cell wall and mechanisms of gene regulation that control development in fungi.
I will be joining the faculty of the Dept of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at the University of California, Riverside in July 2009.
